This Week’s Comics: Take Over the World Time

Adventure Time 2016 Spoooktacular #1 – BOOM! Studios continues their annual Halloween tradition with a new collection of spooky short stories. Ice King has some old scary movies and decides to have a movie night. Gunter doesn’t seem too impressed as he drifts into dreamland, where the scariest thing there is him! This issue includes six stories, with the Ice King’s main minion Gunter taking the center stage and showing why there’s nothing more terrifying in the land of Ooo than a penguin!

Ape And Armadillo Take Over The World HC – Toon Books releases a new book about friendship and world domination. How much fun would it be to take over the world? Two cartoon mice tried it, and cats are still revising their plans, but Armadillo is trying to come up with his own plan. His friend Ape isn’t as keen on it, though, as being a bad guy seems less fun. Watch these two friends go from domination to compromise as they show just how far a true friendship can go.
