The Picks:

Adventures of MiruAdventures Of Miru #1 – Action Lab Entertainment finds a fun new series for kids. Gaia is a realm where dragons no longer exist, until Miru, a small blue and red dragon crashes on it. A sentient robot with a ratty mouse as its co-pilot finds him, but he has no memory of who he is or why he’s there. Miru swiftly becomes hunted, so he and his new allies must begin a journey that just may hold the key not only to Miru’s past, but to the survival of all realities. Adventures of Miru is filled with action and art reminiscent of a web comic or animation. And Miru is just so cute! Kids of any age won’t be able to resist picking this issue up.

PowerPuff Girls 1 2016Powerpuff Girls #1 – IDW Publishing returns to the City of Townsville for more Powerpuff Girls action. Things have been pretty calm lately, so much so that Blossom, Bubble, and Buttercup have fallen out of the public eye. Their arch nemesis, the super-simian Mojo Jojo, seizes the moment to take over, backed by his army of paparazzi, winning the hearts of millions. With new powers, new friends, and new villains, this series is the perfect companion to the new cartoon series starting on Cartoon Network and is sure to be a huge draw for fans, old and new alike.
