The Picks:
Snow Angel TP – Dark Horse Comics introduces a new angelic superhero. An ordinary little girl turns into a crime-fighting cherub whenever she makes an angel in the snow. But with a disapproving mother, and her family moving to Tuscon, what’s a blooming superhero to do? Snow Angel was originally serialized in the anthology Dark Horse Presents, and all those stories are collected here as well as some new adventures. It’s an entertaining story for tweens and up.
Micronauts #1 – IDW Publishing brings back another 80s property. The Micronauts, warriors from another universe, are on the run from the evil dictator Baron Karza. Heroes Acroyear, Space Glider, Biotron, and their allies blast through a universe where magic and science vie for control, searching for the long-lost Time Travelers, who may hold the key to salvation—but the price might mean Armageddon for our world. Micronauts first found popularity with their first series from Marvel Comics. Perhaps it will see it again with this reboot.
