The Picks:

Mighty Zodiac #1 – Oni Press debuts a new action adventure series set in the fantastical world of the Chinese Zodiac. The Blue Dragon has died, and six stars fall out of the night sky. Master Long, the ailing leader of the Mighty Zodiac calls on his warriors to find the six stars before the dark forces of the Moon Rabbit Army finds them. With them, the Mighty Zodiac can revive their master, rescue the world and restore the light. If the darkness finds them, Gaya’s tribes will be destroyed and their world destroyed. Mighty Zodiac brings together an ensemble cast in a story filled with action, mythology and a little something for everyone young and old. Check out our preview of issue #1 and our interview with writer J. Torres.

X MickeyDisney Graphic Novels Volume 2 X-Mickey – Mickey and friends get spooky in this new graphic novel from Papercutz. In the town of Mouseton spooks, ghosts, goblins, and more roam the streets, and only one person can keep the town safe: Mickey Mouse! Joined by Pipworf, a werewolf who bears more than a passing resemblance to Goofy, and an albino mouse named Manny, Mickey does everything to keep the dark creatures locked up where they belong. Papercutz’s new graphic novel lets kids see their favorite Disney characters in all-new settings, and with a premise like Ghostbusters meets Duck Tales, there’s no way this volume can go wrong.
