Poptropica 1Poptropica Volume 1 Mystery Of The Map HC – Amulet Books lets readers loose on a new series of graphic novels. While taking a ride on a hot-air balloon, Oliver, Mya, and Jorge end up crash-landing on an unknown island filled with extinct animals and a horde of angry Vikings. Poptropica, an uncharted group of islands, has been hidden from the rest of the world, leaving the three friends to embark on a perilous search for a way home. They soon discover why they were brought to the island, and the reason threatens the very existence of Poptropica and their ability to ever make it off the island. Poptropica started as an online role-playing game for kids that was created by Jeff Kinney, the author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, and has expanded to other game platforms as well as winning awards for being educational as well as fun. This is the series’ first foray into graphic novels.

Science Comics DinosaursScience Comics Dinosaurs Fossils And Feathers SC – First Second continues to make Science fun! Dinosaurs: Fossils and Feathers explores the history of paleontology, looking at dinosaur science for the last 150 years of dinosaur hunting. It illuminates how our ideas about dinosaurs have changed and continue to change. While the history of paleontology might sound boring, it’s anything but! It’s exciting to follow the first paleontologists as they start to piece together the greatest mystery of them all: What happened to the dinosaurs? Seeing it in comic form only makes it more exciting for kids and adults!
