The Picks:

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 1Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #0 – BOOM! Studios gets their Morphin on with this new series based on the worldwide franchise. Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger, has escaped Rita Repulsa’s mind control and joins up with the rest of the Power Rangers as they continue to fight her never-ending evil plans. There is little hope of a normal life for Tommy now, but there is hope and a brighter path with his new found family. This issue #0 sets up the rest of the series and features characters from the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series. Fans old and new will want to check this series out.

Luna the Vampire 1Luna The Vampire #1 – IDW Publishing takes the world of monsters where no one has gone before. Luna is a space vampire that struggles with all kinds of daily problems, such what to do when you run out of snacks, how do you beat the final boss, and what to wear to your uncle’s Zombification. Fortunately for her, Luna has an odd assortment of friends, strangers, and colleagues to help her. This series started out as a Kickstarter in Europe that was funded successfully, and it is now being brought across the pond for wide release. With a collection of quirky characters and kooky art, this series will appeal to kids of all ages.
