Raina Telgemeier Unveils Cover and Preview of ‘Ghosts’
Raina Telgemeier, who currently holds six spots on the New York Times graphic books best-seller list with her books Smile, Sisters, Drama, and three Baby-Sitters Club adaptations, is hard at work on her next book, Ghosts. Entertainment Weekly got the exclusive cover reveal, and they also posted a preview, which we have embedded below. (Click “download” to get a PDF version.)
Telgemeier announced the title and a few details about the book at Comic-Con International in San Diego last summer, including this brief description:
Eleven-year-old Catrina and her family are moving to the small coastal town of Bahía de la Luna because her younger sister, Maya, is sick. Cat isn’t happy about leaving her friends, but she tries not to complain because she knows Maya will benefit from the clean, cool air that blows in from the sea. As the girls settle in, they learn there’s something a little spooky about their new town…
The book is due out in September.
