The Picks:
Mega Man #55 – Archie Comics puts to bed Mega Man with mega-epic last issue. An experiment at the Chronos Institute goes awry and sends Dr. Light on a journey through time and space. From his early beginnings to the far future, Dr. Light will see the legacy of the Blue Bomber, as well as exploring the worlds of not just Mega Man and Mega Man X, but also, for the first time the worlds of Mega Man Zero, Mega Man ZX, and Mega Man Legends. It’s sad that Mega Man has to go on hiatus, having only gotten to the story line of Mega Man 4, but at least his last issue will be a momentous one.
Crystal Cadets TP – IDW Publishing releases the print edition of ROAR Comics’ magical girl adventure. Zoe thought she was just an ordinary girl trying to adjust to a new school until a gift from her birth mother, a magical crystal, grants her mysterious powers. Bestowed with the power of light, she becomes the Diamond Cadet and is joined by other girls with their own powers and mystical mounts. But it’s not all fun and games, as the growing threat of The Darkness threatens the Cadets family and friends. This group of action-hero girls will have to confront it. Filled with friendship, teamwork, and plenty of action, Crystal Cadets is sure to please any tween to teen reader.
