Hereville 3 Hereville: How Mirka Caught A Fish HC – Mirka, the world’s first time-traveling, monster-fighting Orthodox Jewish girl is back from Amulet Books. Mirka is stuck babysitting her disapproving little sister Layele instead of finding new adventures. When she pushes Layele into a stream, they both get in too deep with an angry magic fish. Mirka tries to fight the fish, but it just gets stronger, and it’s out for revenge. With her whole family on the line, Mirka must put together clues hidden in her stepmother Fruma’s past to stop the fish and save her little sister. Continuing the adventures of its indomitable heroine, Hereville: How Mirka Caught a Fish is filled with cultural tradition, squabbling siblings, and exciting visuals that are sure to grab readers. It’s another great addition to any tween or graphic novel library shelf.

Love Vol 2Love Volume 2 The Fox HC – Magnetic Press releases the second volume in their wildlife graphic novel series. This volume has a northeastern woodland setting and follows a single fox through its daily journey through the trees and along the seafront. Its day is interrupted as a volcanic eruption throws the area into chaos, sending all kinds of creatures scurrying for safety, but the tiny hunter decides to run into the danger instead. Love feels like an old Disney True-Life Adventures documentary. Filled with breathtaking illustrations and gripping adventure drama, this title will appeal to readers of all ages.
