The Picks:

Hero Cats Midnight 1 Hero Cats Midnight Over Stellar City #1 – Action Lab Entertainment releases a mini-series featuring the Batman of cats. In Stellar City, Midnight is the loner crime-fighting cat. He is on the hunt, tracking down the mysterious Crow King. It is up to the Claws of Justice to outwit this fowl villain and uncover his grand scheme. The Hero Cats universe is expanded with a new mini series that gives us a more in-depth look at the cool cat crime-fighter, Midnight. Both kids and adults will enjoy it.

lumberjanesbeyondLumberjanes Beyond Bay Leaf #1 – The Lumberjanes get their first-ever special one-shot issue. A monster is terrorizing the Lumberjanes camp, and the girls have to stop it. But when they find out the monster is being framed, the girls now have to figure out who’s behind it and why. Join April, Jo, Mal, Molly, and Ripley as they earn their BEYOND BAY LEAF pin! This issue is written by Faith Erin Hicks, writer of The Adventures of Superhero Girl, and drawn by newcomer artist Rosemary Valero-O’Connell. Perfectly capturing the spirit of what the Lumberjanes are, this issue is a great way to introduce new fans to their world.
