The Picks:
Grumpy Cat #1 – Dynamite Entertainment releases a comic based on the most lovable grump since Oscar the Grouch! Follow the misadventures of Grumpy Cat, the cat who hates everything, even having fun, and her not-as-smart brother Pokey, starting with a treasure hunt where there might be ghosts! Grumpy Cat started out as a picture on the meme site I Can Haz Cheezeburger and has become a media sensation with books, a movie, numerous TV appearances, and her most important work, being the offical “Spokescat” for Friskies Cat Food and their rescue charities. Readers of all ages will love these short adventures filled with her sassy attitude and perpetual pout.
Upside Down Volume 2 A Hat Full Of Spells GN – Jess Smart Smiley’s sugar-loving vampire boy returns in an all new adventure. Harold is having nightmares of Vermillion, the last witch, whom he defeated in his previous adventure. With witches no longer plaguing the country, what could be disturbing his sleep? Perhaps it is their hats that remain, still charged with magical mischief. It’s up to Harold and all his spooky friends to put this threat to an end as well. Just in time for Halloween, this all-ages title is the perfect thing to put in the hands of your favorite little vampires and witches.
