Preview: ‘Archie’ #3
As you have probably heard by now, Archie Comics rebooted their flagship series two months ago with a new look and a new, more “realistic” sensibility. The first story arc is written by Mark Waid (Daredevil) and illustrated by Fiona Staples (Saga), and we discussed the first issue thoroughly in our Archie Roundtable last month.
Here’s a preview of the art in issue 3; as you can see, it’s unlettered, but it gives a good sense of the storytelling style and a look at the updated version of Veronica Lodge. And yes, that is Jughead on the cover. The comic will be out in comic shops on September 30. Enjoy!
