TMNT-AA-01Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Amazing Adventures #1 – The Heroes on the Half Shell are back in a new series from IDW. The Turtles are investigating why Dr. Cluckingsworth, a mutated chicken with a giant brain, is in New York City when they are betrayed by Cluckingsworth. She is working with a mysterious stranger who is also looking for another mutant. Inspired by the Nickelodeon cartoon, this series will take the Turtles on even crazier adventures and features backup stories by cartoon artists such as James Kolchalka.

Princess Ugg v2Princess Ugg Volume 2 – The Barbarian Princess returns to Oni Press with an new trade. Princess Ügla has improved her studies at the Princess Academy, but she still doesn’t feel like a true princess, not like the others. And she still hasn’t gotten a handle on diplomacy. But when the other princesses are targeted by bandits and then political figures, it’s battle skills that are needed to save the day. Princess Ugg continues to be a fun story with a great female lead that middle school readers and up will enjoy.
