The Picks:
Princess And The Pony HC – Kate Beaton steps away from her bestselling series Hark! A Vagrant to pen a new title for early readers. Princess Pinecone wants just one thing for her birthday; a horse. A BIG, STRONG horse. A horse fit for a Warrior Princess. When the big day finally comes around, her expectations are far from met. But maybe this roly poly pony might not be so bad after all. Beaton delivers a story filled with laughs, surprises, and falling in love with one unforgettable pony. This title is a must for any young reader collection.
Mickey Mouse #1 – IDW releases the next comic from their new Disney line. Rugged explorer two-fisted Mickey takes on a jungle challenge with his pal Goofy as he hunts “The Lost Explorers’ Trail”—and gets some unexpected help from the jungle daredevil Eurasia Toft. Fun and adventure abounds as the world’s most famous mouse returns to U.S. comics to entertain and delight fans young and old.
