This Week’s Comics: Be Your Minion

Enjoy the long summer days with some comics from this week’s list. Archie Comics has a special issue of Mega Man; Worlds Unite Battles features some of the spectacular duels that have spilled over from the pages of the Worlds Unite mega event. Dark Horse Comics starts a new Plants Vs Zombies and takes on bullying at the same time, while First Second releases the second volume in the Anna Banana picture book series, The Chocolate Explosion.

Princeless v4 1Princeless Be Yourself #1 – Action Lab starts the fourth book of the Princeless saga. Adrienne and Bedelia are back to rescuing  Adrienne’s sisters. This time is it Angoisse who is locked in a tower in a swamp. They get separated when Sparky crash lands, and they are stranded in a swamp full of dangerous creatures. The trio must face their fears in order to find each other. Princeless continues to entertain with fun stories and characters that everyone will enjoy.

Minions 1Minions #1 – The real stars of the movie Despicable Me get their own comic from Titan Comics. Minions, the small, yellow, banana-loving henchmen from the movie Despicable Me 1 & 2, not only have their own movie coming out in July, but now they also have their own comic series. Each hilarious issue is filled with stories of the Minions getting into all manner of trouble. Fans of all ages of these trouble-making henchmen will not just want but need this issue!
