The Picks:
Kids Of The Round Table #1 – Action Lab brings a 90s kids film back in comic form. Kevin is a normal middle school student who dreams of the legendary wizard Merlin. He must find Excalibur, King Arthur’s sword, and free Merlin from his otherworldly prison before the king’s greatest enemy escapes and rains down terror on the world. Written by creator Robert Tinnell, this comic brings back the myth and magic of Arthurian legend return in a story that tweens to teens will love.
Sonic Universe #76 – Archie’s epic crossover begins here. Starting in the Mega Man X universe, the wicked Sigma escapes and arrives in Dr. Eggman’s secret Lost Hex base. There he finds the Deadly Six, a villainous gang from the video game Sonic Lost World, and promises them new power, and compromising their loyalty to Dr. Eggman. Meanwhile, heroes Sonic and Mega Man are caught in the middle of an ambush. This issue kicks off Archie’s summer event “Worlds Unite” and is the first part of the 12-part sequel to their first Sonic/Mega Man Crossover “Worlds Collide.”
