Special Preview: Svetlana Chmakova’s ‘Awkward’
We’re big Svetlana Chmakova fans here, going back to her Tokyopop days (Dramacon) and even earlier. After Dramacon, she moved to Yen Press, where she did Nightschool and then an adaptation of James Patterson’s Witch and Wizard.
Now she’s back with something new: Awkward, a middle-school comedy that looks like it’s pitched at somewhat younger readers than her previous graphic novels. And the folks at Yen Press have given us an extended preview! If you like this, check out Svet’s Tumblr or the Awkward Facebook for more. Enjoy!
