The Picks:
Regular Show #21 – Boom! Studios gives Regular Show a new writer and new arc. A marathon of old childhood movies sends Rigby down memory lane, as he begins to remember a movie so awesome, so incredible, so amazingly rad…but he can’t remember its title! He jumps online and falls down the rabbit hole of internet nostalgia in search of it, and he is confronted with a question: are some movies meant to be forgotten? Regular Show has been running for over a year and a half now, and after 20 issues it is starting a new arc with new writer Mad Rupert, who also wrote the Regular Show mini series Skips, making this a perfect jumping on point for new readers.
Katamari Volume 1 HC – Udon Entertainment releases another collection from their far-too-short-lived video game webcomics. The King of All Cosmos has sent his son, the Prince, to the planet Earth on an important mission: to find out what the UFO that has arrived there is up to. Together with his wacky cousins and the mysteriously sticky katamari balls, he faces space cows, time paradoxes, tag-team wrestlers, and broken lamps! This volume collects all 150 strips from the Shiftylook webcomic. Katamari Damacy is a strange yet silly video game, and the comic strip captures the atmosphere perfectly. This series has to be seen to believed. Don’t miss it!
