Preview: Sensation Comics Featuring Wonder Woman #8

March 14, 2015 by Brigid Alverson   Leave a Comment

Don’t let the unwieldy title scare you off! Sensation Comics Featuring Wonder Woman #8, which will be out on Wednesday, is the print edition of a digital-first Wonder Woman anthology that features stand-alone stories by different creators. The digital chapters are 99 cents a pop, and then DC gathers them into print comics. So if you like what you see here, you can get the digital comic, which is Sensation Comics Featuring Wonder Woman #23, right now. Actually, this is a two-parter, so you’ll want to budget an extra 99 cents for #24

And you probably will, because I have two words for you: NOELLE STEVENSON!

Yes, Noelle Stevenson, co-creator of Lumberjanes and creator of Nimona, is the artist for this rather untraditional Wonder Woman tale, and James Tynion IV, who is known around these parts for the BOOM! Studios series The Woods, is the writer.
