The Jungle Comes to Life in ‘Love: The Tiger’
Here’s something new to look forward to in January: Love: The Tiger, a wordless nature story that follows a tiger through the jungle for a day. Created by Frédéric Brrémaud and Disney veteran Federico Bertolucci, the book is a European import and won the Special Jury Awards at the 2011 Lucca Comics Festival. It’s also just the first of several volumes, each focusing on a different animal in a different environment. Check out the trailer below for more samples of Bertolucci’s lush illustrations, and watch out for the book in stores in a few weeks!
