With comics, the fun never has to end!

The Picks:

Simpsons Winter Wingding #9 – Bongo Comics continues a holiday tradition with a Winter Wingding. A Polar Vortex hits Springfield with its biggest snow storm in history. Buried under 20 feet of snow, the citizens build an intricate system of tunnels so they can go about their daily lives. Bart gets a new friend when a new cosmic ray that Prof. Frink invented hits the snowman he’s built, bringing to life Snowmer! Then Comic Book Guy finds a videotape recording of a nearly forgotten 1979 Radioactive Man Holiday Special that is best left a distant holiday memory. The Simpsons have practically become an institution, and issues like these a great tradition to kick off the holidays.

Bravest Warriors Paralyzed Horse Giant #1 – BOOM! Studios gives a character from the cartoon their own book! Paralyzed Horse is Beth’s pet, and while he can’t move, he can see both the present and future. This oversized issue, 48 pages, features several short stories from from Paralyzed Horse’s log that spans all of eternity, as well as the entire cast of Bravest Warriors. The wackiness of Bravest Warriors spills over with this spin off and is a must for fans of the cartoon and/or comic.
