The Picks:

Sonic Saga Volume 6 Mogul Rising TP – Archie continues to play catch up with Sonic the Hedgehog trades. Sonic battles the ancient, evil Mammoth Mogul. He has lost his Chaos Emerald and he has been imprisoned, but he is far from powerless: He uses his remaining powers to summon a new Fearsome Foursome and forces Sonic to be one of them! Sonic is helpless, like a puppet on a string, as every mercenary and cut-throat is hired to take his shoes, while the malicious mammoth laughs from the shadows. Read this volume to see how Sonic overcomes all the odds. This trade collects issues #185-189 of Sonic the Hedgehog. For the longest time, reading older Sonic issues meant scrounging for singles at comic stores and cons. Thankfully, Archie is making these older issues available through the Sonic Saga trades, so fans old and new can start or complete their collection. They’re great for libraries too!

Dexter’s Laboratory Volume 1 Dee’s Day TP – IDW collects the first story arc of the new Dexter’s Laboratory. Dexter has reached the pinnacle of his greatest scientific experiment. With infinite clarity and superhuman itellect beyond all mankind, he will be able to do science like never before! He has every precaution in place, but will it be enough to let him finish before his meddling sister, Dee Dee, ruins everything…AGAIN? This classic struggle between siblings will bring a smile to the face of anyone with with a sibling and warm the heart of those who don’t have one. This is a great libaray addition too.
