The Picks:

Costume Quest: Invasion Of The Candy Snatchers HC – Oni Press releases a new Halloween-themed graphic novel just in time for the candy season. Monster world Repugia is starved for candy, but Klem and his pals have a plan to change that. The less-than-popular Grubbins intend to bring a hoard of candy back from the human world. Since it’s Halloween, there is candy everywhere! But there are also bullies everywhere, ready to steal their sweet, sweet loot. Klem and his friends must make it through the night to return with their treasure or else be doomed to an eternity of sugar-free torment! Costume Quest is based on a new video game of the same name recently announced by Double Fine Productions. The story makes it perfect for both gamers and for readers looking for some fun Halloween hijinks!

Rabbids Volume 1 BWAAAAAAAH – Papercutz lets loose the zaniest Rabbits you’ll ever see! The Rabbids are out of control, and they are likely to do anything to their first graphic novel. Painting over a finished page of comics to play tic-tac-toe and turning off the power for two pages, plunging the comics into total darkness (except for the flashlight the Rabbid has), are just a few of the wacky antics these Rabbids will come up with. Nothing is safe from them! The stars of both video games from Ubisoft and an animated series on Nickelodeon, these hyper-active, super-adorable creatures are sure to win over kids and adults alike.
