Simpsons Treehouse Of Horror #20 – Bongo heralds the Halloween season with their annual Treehouse of Horror issue. Zombies are the in-monster, and this new issue of Simpsons Treehouse of Horror is jam packed full of them. In a quartet of stories, Homer tries to keep alive an ever-diminishing group of survivors against a marauding horde of zombies. Bart and his friends take on the shopping dead when they’re trapped at the Springfield Mall, Bart and Homer try to protect the nuclear power plant from a zombie invasion, and a “zombienado” strikes Springfield. Even if you’re getting zombie burnout, how can anyone pass up a “zombienado?” This is the fun side of scary and a great way to get excited about Halloween.
My Little Pony Annual 2014 – My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic goes full on superhero! The Power Ponies are here to protect the city of Maretropolis from supervillains such as Pharaoh Phetlock. But when Mane-iac assembles an all-star team of villains, they may be out of their league! Only with help from a familiar face from Equestria can they even the odds. It’s the Mane Six like you’ve never seen them before! This one-shot annual is a must for every pony and/or superhero fan.
