Links: San Diego wrap-up and more!

August 5, 2014 by Brigid Alverson   Leave a Comment

Another Comic-Con is in the rear-view mirror, and this was a good one for comics, although the movie/TV scene seemed a bit low-key compared to previous years. I rounded up the kids’ comics news at Publishers Weekly, which included the 10th anniversary edition of Bone and a new Hereville book from Barry Deutsch.

More San Diego news: Here’s the CBR coverage of the Archie panel and the IDW panel; the latter includes the news of the Angry Birds/Transformers crossover.

Henry Chamberlain talks to Gene Luen Yang on video about The Shadow Hero.

At the Detroit News, Eric Henrickson counts down nine graphic novels for summer reading, many of which will be familiar to GC4K readers.
