New Manga Steals Readers Hearts
Viz Media has released a new series from Arina Tanemura, the creator of much-loved titles such as Full Moon, The Gentleman’s Alliance Cross, and Sakura Hime. Phantom Thief Jeanne is about magical girl Maron Kusakabe, a regular high school girl by day, and phantom art thief at night! She steals paintings from private art collections that are possessed by demons, and seals them away before they can eat human hearts. But she has competition! Phantom Thief Sinbad has appeared and is trying to steal all the paintings before her.
This series is a short five volumes and is rated for teens. It was originally released by CMX Manga but has since fallen out of print. Viz Media’s editions feature a new translation as well as color pages and new covers by Tanimura. The series will also be available in digital on all the popular platforms for $6.99 while print volumes will be $10.99, and will come out every other month.
