Moomin And The Golden Tail GN – Drawn & Quarterly releases another classic Moomin story for kids to enjoy. Moomin notices that his tail seems to be thinning and becomes worried that Snorkmaiden will no longer love him if his tail goes bald. After consulting the family doctor, several tail specialists, and even getting an X-ray, he finally goes to Moominmamma to for help. She cooks up a magic potion, and it works—just a little too well. Moomin’s lustrous new tail is now solid gold! He becomes the toast of society as well as the target of numerous journalists and money-making schemes. This new kid-proof but kid-friendly book is in full color and teaches a valuable lesson in the consequences of fame.
Tippy And The Night Parade GN – Toon Books releases the first children’s book from award-winning cartoonist Lilli Carre. Tippy wakes up to find a peacock in her bedroom, a bird in her hair, and mice dancing on the headboard. But she doesn’t remember her nocturnal adventure leading an animal parade up a mountain, down a hole, and back home. She only remembers falling asleep. This easy to follow story leads readers on a fun adventure for endless bedtime enjoyment. Check out Good Comics for Kid’s review here.
