First round of Free Comic Book Day titles announced

It’s not even Christmas yet, but the folks behind Free Comic Book Day are already thinking about next spring. Free Comic Book Day (often abbreviated as FCBD) is a promotional event designed to bring customers into brick-and-mortar comics shops with the promise of free comics, selections from a special set put together for the occasion. The first round of titles, the 12 Gold comic books, has just been announced on the FCBD website; still to come are the 48 Silver titles. Here are cover images and the promotional blurbs from the Gold comics.

Archie Digest #1
