The Picks:
Batman Li’l Gotham #9 – The digital first all ages comic continues at DC. This time, Batman and Robin chase Clayface into Gotham City’s biggest comic-con. As they deal with security, other heroes, and just plain trouble, will they be able to catch the cunning criminal? Then Jenna Duffy, carpenter to Gotham City’s criminal class, takes the day off for Labor Day. But constant interruptions may doom her personal project. The Batman Li’l Gotham continues to be a success for both kids and adults with the beautiful art and fun and clever stories. This title is a must for any Batman fan, big or small.
Young Justice Volume 4 Invasion TP – The finale of an all-too-short series. The impending invasion by The Collector of Worlds and Brainiac push Young Justice to add to the ranks. They need all the help they can get with the battle to come. This trade collects #20-25, the last five issues of the series. With well-known writer Greg Weisman at the helm, this is a series that ended too soon. With the trades now complete, pick up the whole series for the tween and/or teen who wants to read about superheroes their age.
