Adventure Time Volume 2: Pixel Princesses – The Adventure Time graphic novel line continues with a focus on the Princesses of Ooo. There’s a lot more to being a Princess than just tea parties and doilies. Sometimes it requires kicking butt and taking names! In this adventure, the Princesses of Ooo learn what it really takes to be a princess while learning to respect each other different and unique outlooks on life. The Princesses of Adventure Time are a distinctive group that don’t always agree or get along. It’s great that they are getting a story all to themselves where they can show their stuff and really embrace the theme of Adventure Time: Friendship. This is must have for any tween or teen graphic library/collection.

Mermin Volume 2 The Big Catch HC – Oni Press releases the next adventure of the fish-boy Mermin. Pete and the gang have tried to keep Mermin from making waves in their small town, but he can’t help but stick out. Trouble really starts to brew when an amateur team of paranormal investigators set their sights on Mermin as their chance to make it big, while Benni, Mermin’s round aquatic companion, is ready to talk about their lives in the underwater Kingdom of Mer. With a fun story and art to match, this is great title to add to any graphic novel collection. Early tweens and up will enjoy it the most.
