This Week’s Comics: Mr. Peabody’s Digest

Betty And Veronica Double Digest #218 – Get in the Holiday spirit with Archie Comics. Betty and Veronica do an act of kindness that spreads Christmas cheer throughout the town of Riverdale. Everyone in town gets into the idea of giving, resulting in some very unlikely friendships. The spirit of the season hits Riverdale in a big way! It’s time to get into the holiday spirit, and this four-part story, “The Great Crashers” is the great way to start.

Mr Peabody And Sherman #1 – A true cartoon classic returns in comic form from IDW. Mr. Peabody, the world’s smartest individual who happens to be a dog, and his boy Sherman go on their maiden voyage through time in the WABAC machine, a time-traveling machine that allows them to go on adventures, exploring history. The Jay Ward characters and cartoons were a big part of my childhood, and I love that IDW has brought them back to introduce to a whole new generation. With Mr. Peabody’s unique and often pun-tastic view of history, this is great book for any kid. Check out the link for a preview.
