Gene Luen Yang talks at length to interviewer Tom Spurgeon about Boxers & Saints at The Comics Reporter.

Dogs of War (from Scholastic) is one of the most interesting books of the fall season; it’s an anthology of three stories about dogs bravely aiding their human companions in three different wars. At Newsarama, writer Sheila Keenan and artist Nathan Fox talk about the book and how it came together.

Paul Pope talks about his young adult comic, Battling Boy.

Mike Kunkel‘s Halloween issue of Herobear and the Kid was delayed until November, so it’s a bit out of season; he talks to TJ Dietsch about what happened and what’s new with the series.

I rounded up some of the best teen graphic novels of the fall season at SLJTeen.

UK artist Neill Cameron has a nice list of comics for a six year old boy, gleaned from direct observation of one particular six-year-old boy.
