The Picks:

Molly Danger Volume 1 HC – Action Labs lets loose this Kickstarter title for everyone. Molly Danger may look like your average 10-year-old girl, but she is anything but. Seemingly immortal and super-strong, Molly has protected Coopersville from the Supermechs, cybernetic villains that appeared shortly after her family crash landed on Earth. Kept isolated and watched by D.A.R.T, an organization created to assist her, all Molly really wants is a real family. The arrival of Austin Briggs, a newly remarried pilot who hopes working with Molly will help his relationship with his stepson Brian, brings Molly her first step closer to that dream. She and Brian, who is a big fan of hers, form a friendship, Molly’s first. Molly Danger is a title that promises plenty of action with dashes of humor and drama. It would be a great addition to any tween/teen/graphic collection.

Vamplets Volume 1 The Nightmare Nursery HC – Get a dose of frighteningly cute monsters in this new title from Action Labs. With graduation just around the corner, Destiny Harper stands at a crossroads in her life with not a lot of prospects for the future. She answers an ad for the Night Care Nursery, and is magically transported to Gloomvania, a dark world where monsters lurk in the streets, and baby vampires called Vamplets are overrunning the world. In order to return home, Destiny must serve out her term as governess and survive the horrifying cuteness of the Vamplets! With cartoonish art and cute monster antics, Vamplets is a good title for those who don’t like to be scared too much, to still enjoy the Halloween season.
