This Week’s Comics: Sonic Magic
It was hard picking just two titles to spotlight this week. There were so many good titles even though the list is a little sparse. BOOM! Studios has another Adventure Time special issue; this time it’s the Summer Special, featuring lots of summertime stories. Vertical, the boutique manga publisher, has the new volume of Heroman, a series that is great for tween boys and girls that like superheroes and robots, while Yen Press has the next chapter in the Kingdom Hearts Saga, Chain of Memories, the bridge between Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2. These are all in addition to the two great titles I picked to spotlight. Check them out!

The Picks:
Sonic The Hedgehog #251 – Archie Comics’ biggest crossover finally comes to an end. Sonic and Mega Man have been captured by their arch-enemies Drs. Eggman and Wily, who are now ready to put the final stage of their evil plan into motion: to use the power of the Chaos Emeralds to become unstoppable Demi-gods of destruction! But don’t count the blue heroes out yet! They have a plan of their own, and it’s a “super” one! This multi-universe spanning crossover has been an exciting ride, and I don’t expect this final chapter to be less! Sonic and Mega Man fans can’t miss it!
My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic #9 – Come meet the citizens of Ponyville! While the Mane Six have had some exciting adventures, Ponyville is filled with lots of of colorful characters, as Big McIntosh, Apple Jack’s big brother is about to find out. An ordinary morning quickly turns into an unexpected adventure that puts his typical bashfulness to the test. This new arc, filled with side stories, gives the citizens of Ponyville the spotlight they’ve been deserving!
