The Picks:
Monster On The Hill GN – Top Shelf has a new monstrous series for all ages. In a fantastical 1860s England, monsters terrorize the townships. Each monster is unique and they become a source of local pride and even bring in tourists. All except for one. Stoker-on-Avon has a monster that isn’t as impressive as the others. He’s actually downright depressing! It’s going to take the combined efforts of the eccentric Dr. Charles Wilkie and plucky street urchin Timothy to get the morose Rayburn up to monstrous snuff before a greater threat turns the town to kindling. Top Shelf has been the source of a lot of quirky all ages books that appeal to young and young at heart, and this title looks like it will fit right in. And it has monsters. Who doesn’t love monsters? A great addition to any all ages or graphic novel collection.

Their fateful encounter start them on a journey to the many magical Disney kingdoms to find their friends and lock the keyholes of each realm and stop the Heartless. Based on a video game franchise from the early 2000s, Kingdom Hearts is also a license rescue from Tokyopop, who originally published the series as individual volumes.
