The Picks:

Princeless Volume 2 #1 – The Princess who won’t wait is back! Adrienne, joined by her blacksmith friend Bedelia and her loyal guardian dragon Sparky, embarks on her continuing mission to free her sisters. Now in her sights is Angelica, the most beautiful girl in all the kingdom. There is one problem though: The King, believing Adrienne is dead, has put a bounty on her killer: Adrienne. The critically acclaimed all ages series returns with more great adventures with Princess Adrienne and her mission to break the bonds of tradition and take her life into her own hands. This is a great series for both boys and girls and should be a part of every tween and teen library or collection.

Action Time Buddies #1 – Another popular webcomic makes the transition to print. Inspired by popular cartoons My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Adventure Time, as well as some cartoons from their childhood, artist Fred Perry and writer Robby Bevard have created a webcomic that is full of fun and action! Join Bro the Kung-fu Pegasus, Artie the Bookworm Ninja, and Kid the Boy Pilot as they search for danger, monsters, bad guys and the magic of friendship! There is plenty of action and adventure as they discover new and wonderful places to play in their play-park world. There are only four stories out so far, and with a limited run on the print comic, so checking out the web-comic may be the easiest way to find this title, but do pick it up if you see it in print so there will be more!
