Preview: Benjamin Bear in Bright Ideas
I’m on record as being a big fan of Philippe Coudray’s first Benjamin Bear book, so I’m delighted that Toon Books is publishing a second one next month. What I like about this book is that it’s clever without being overbearing; each page contains a puzzle or a verbal pun that is simple enough for a child to grasp but will probably make many readers smile with surprise when they get it. Benjamin Bear in Bright Ideas will be out on March 26.
