All ages comics and manga for 1/16/13
It’s a small list this week! Do publishers do inventory as well, and just not stock their shelves in January, like retail? Despite that, there are still some good titles to check out. Marvel Comics has a new issue of the Disney Junior Magazine, and Papercutz has the latest volume in their Garfield and Co. series. And if you missed the first and second printing of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #1, not to worry, IDW Publishing has you covered with a third printing of all 6 covers and the special boxset!

Double your dose of Dreamworks fun with this magazine that features comics from hit movie and TV shows such as Kung Fu Panda, Shrek and the Penguins of Madagascar, as well as games and posters. The first issue features the Kung Fu Panda story “The Art of Balance”, while the second issue puts Puss in Boots in the spotlight in “The Sword Master of Rancho Castillo” with Kung Fu Panda returning as a back up with “The Dragon Chef.” If you kids can’t get enough of the Dreamsworks movies and characters, then this magazine is a must have!

Green Lantern The Animated Series #10 – Green Lantern’s animated adventures continue! While on patrol, the Interceptor comes across a small ship being attacked by energy-sucking space worms. With a single survivor on the ship, the crew work together, perhaps despite themselves, to rescue it. With Razer having doubts the role of the other crew members in the child’s rescue, and Red Lanterns involved, will Hal Jordan be able to bring a happy ending to this runaway tale? Rumors of this titles cancellation started when it didn’t show up in the April Previews, but they proved to be untrue as this title, along with other DC all ages titles undergo some changes. Don’t worry about Hal Jordan and his friends and allies, they will be around for a while still.
