The Picks:
Mecha-Nation Androidology TP – Metal-out with the High School kids from Glass Lake High! Students Kevin, Marcus, Ray, Zehra and Susie discover their true natures as Mecha-sapiens and band together to form Mecha-Nation, a new team of superheroes. With secret identities as Stealth, Blast!, Tank, Charge and Fahrenheit, they battle against the Factory’s monsters and their arch-enemy Mr. Gear. But keeping their identities a secret proves to be more of a challenge than the monsters they fight. This trade collects all three issues of the comic series from an all-star creative team that includes creators from Young Justice, Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens, Phineas & Ferb and Penguins of Madagascar. Middle school readers and up are a perfect fit for these new teen superheroes.
Peanuts Volume 2 #1 – The Peanuts gang is back in an all-new series from BOOM! Studios. It’s the last days of summer, so Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the gang live it up with a beach party! Along with all-new stories, this issue has a How-To-Draw feature and classic Sunday strips from Charles Schulz. While this series is geared toward younger readers, it’s a fun read for all ages.
