Preview: The Wonderland Alphabet
This isn’t quite a comic, but it’s comic-ish, and that should count for something: The Wonderland Alphabet is a board book written by Alethea Kontis (The Dark-Hunter Companion) and illustrated by Janet K. Lee, the artist of The Return of the Dapper Men. It’s very much in the spirit of the original; Kontis’s little rhymes scan like Lewis Carroll’s doggerel, and Lee’s art is a softer take on John Tenniel’s familiar drawings. The book goes on sale June 20.
