Super Heroes #24 (Marvel Adventures) – Marvel ends another all ages line. In this final issue of Super Heroes, Spider-Man has some pest problems to solve. Giant bugs are attacking the earth, but that’s only part of Giant Girl’s problems. Her favorite bug, Ant-Man goes missing, and it’s up to Spider-Man to help find him! This line ends after only two years after it was rebooted from the previous Marvel Adventures line. While Marvel does have new all ages titles set to be released next month, they will be more targeted toward Marvel properties in other mediums and won’t cover the range of super heroes that the Marvel Adventures did.

Twin Spica Volume 12 – Vertical finishes another title, their first tween title to end. This is it. The remainder of Japan’s first Space School class prepares for graduation. As the students reflect on their time in Tokyo’s Space School, they take time to express long hidden feelings and work out a few differences. And with the first student astronaut to be chosen from the graduates, will Asumi’s dream of driving a rocket finally come true? This story has been a real rollercoaster ride of emotion, and this final volume is no different. Twin Spica is a fun, uplifting, heart breaking, and ultimately satisfying story that tweens and teens will love. It’s a must for any middle school, high school library or tween to teen collection.
