The Picks:
Ralph Filmore GN – Arcana introduces a new paranormal investigator for all ages. Ralph Filmore is your average, everyday 12-year-old obsessed with paranormal phenomena. He takes on all things strange and bizarre with the help of his best friend/partner in slime, Booker, his robotic supercomputer Z and his ghostly canine companion Specter, and is still in bed by 9PM. when his supernatural sleuthing gets him grounded for Halloween, he must risk the wrath of disobeying his mom’s orders to stay in his room to stop the long forgotten evil of Mortimer Bain, vengeful magician who is turning all of the townsfolk of Hollow Creak into zombie creatures. This is a true all ages title that both kids and adults will enjoy, with fun characters and story, and an animation art style to match.
Muppets Presents The Treasure Of Peg-Leg Wilson – The Muppets are back with more zany antics! In this giant-sized comic, Kermit takes on the “bad to the bone look”, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew takes on the savage Animal, and the rats take on the hunt for the elusive treasure of Peg Leg Wilson, and dig up the theater in the process! Add to this Pigs in Space, the Swedish Chef, and catapulting penguins and exploding chickens and you have one wild read! Fans of the Muppets and just plain great humor will want to pick this issue up.
