Preview: Okie Dokie Donuts
We have something special for you this weekend, thanks to the folks at Top Shelf: Okie Dokie Donuts, by Chris “Elio” Eliopoulos, the first volume of what he plans to be a series of graphic novels set in Big Mama’s Donut Shop. Eliopoulos has a charming, if rather busy, retro style, and his story is funny and full of good humor (see my review at Graphic Novel Reporter for more). The book just came out in August.
And tune in tomorrow for a special extra weekend preview of another Top Shelf Kids Club book!
