Preview: Archie Freshman Year, Book Two

August 29, 2011 by Brigid Alverson   1 comments

The first Archie Freshman Year book was a big hit, both in print and digitally—at one point, the first issue was the most downloaded comic on iTunes—so it’s not surprising that the Archie Comics folks have come up with a follow-up. In the first book, Jughead and his family left Riverdale for Montana (a possible in-joke, as one of the original creators of Archie was Bob Montana), and in this volume we find out what happened to him there. The Book 1 team of writer Batton Lash and artist Bill Galvan are back for this one, so the look and story should stay consistent. The book is due out in bookstores on September 20.
