July 1, 2011 by Lori Henderson   Leave a Comment

Going on a road trip for the 4th of July weekend? Pick up some comics to keep the “Are we there yet”s and “He touched me”s to a minimum! Prepare for the next Marvel Comics movie with a trade of Captain America stories from Marvel Adventures. If you missed the Ratchet and Clank comics, DC Comics now has them in a convenient trade paperback. And for some really outrageous action, check out Image Comics latest issue of Super Dinosaur, or this week’s pick for some comedy that’s out of this world!

The List:

The Pick:

Little Green Men It’s A Big World After All –  The Little Green Men are back, continuing thie mission to conquer the Earth. Their biggest obstacle: they are only three inches tall. But that won’t keep Moke, Lartee and Gerlex from trying to complete their mission as they prove size really doesn’t matter. This graphic novel collects the web comics that first appeared on ApeCMX, the place to go for Ape Entertainment digital comics, and this is the second volume. Based on another comedy trio that should seem familiar, This is a title that both young and old can appreciate!
