This issue is a prelude to the a new arc, ‘Genesis’ and starts off the celebration for Sonic’s 25th anniversary. Patrick In A Teddy Bear’s Picnic and Other Stories – Toon Books has a new graphic novel for emerging readers. Patrick Brown is a playful teddy bear who likes to jump puddles and has a sweet spot for his Mama, but is put to the test when Big Bear shows up. This volume features several stories both long and short about avoiding naps, going on a picnic, dealing with bullies, and buying cookies. Written by Geisel Award-winning author Geoffrey Hayes, parents and teachers can rest assured that these stories will not only be easy-to-read, but also delightful for their young readers.
