Interview: Dave Roman and Raina Telgemeier
On Sunday, October 10, while attending New York Comic Con, I ran around to as many of my favorite kids comics creators as I could and asked them all the exact same questions. Keep in mind, conventions are crazy loud and crazy busy, so there is a lot of background noise. Let me know in the comments if you have trouble hearing anything and I’ll translate for you.
Has it really been just a week or so since Raina accepted the Horn Book Honor for her book Smile? Is the publication of Dave’s newest book Astronaut Academy: Zero Gravity really only a few months away? Sheesh. A little busy, maybe? Things have been crazy for these two lately, so I was particularly pleased to see them both in the same place at the same time so I could ask them my six questions.
