The other students are too happy to be there, and they all look and act exactly alike. To get to the bottom of Stepford’s secrets, Megan will need the help of Raf, the boy from the pet food store to avoid zombified students, very mad scientists and the school psychiatrist. With quirky characters and a weird story elements, this title has the potential of find wide appeal, especially with middle school readers.

Amulet Volume 3 The Cloud Searchers SC – Kazu Kibuishi’s thrilling tale of adventure continues in this third volume. Emily, Navin and their crew of resistance fighters are off in search of Cielis, a mythical city said to be on an island located high above the clouds. They seek the help of the Guardian Council’s powerful Stonekeepers. Surprises await them onboard the airship, but time is running out for Emily. She must find Cielis before the Elf King finds her. The first two books in this series have been a hit with kids, and with things getting more series, this volume is sure to continue to fan those fires. Upper elementary and middle school libraries will not go wrong with stocking this volume.
