Interview: Matt Loux
On Friday, July 23, while attending San Diego International Comic-Con, I ran around like a madwoman, rounding up as many of my favorite kids comics creators as I could and asking them all the exact same questions. Keep in mind, Comic-Con is crazy loud and crazy busy, so there is a lot of background noise. Let me know in the comments if you have trouble hearing anything and I’ll translate for you.
Little did Matt Loux know that when he agreed to fly all the way out to San Diego, he would be accosted by a librarian who, at that point, was running on pure adrenalin. Author of some of my favorite books to hand sell, the Salt Water Taffy series and the side-splittingly funny book Sidescrollers, Matt was an incredibly good sport and a real pleasure to talk to.
