Picks:
Tails of the Pet Avengers – Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers mini-series from last year was so popular that it has been given it’s own monthly series. As a prelude to that, Marvel is putting out this special, super-sized comic. It tells of what the Pet Avengers have been doing since the end of Lockjaw, and before their regular series begins. It includes such tales as a new story about Zabu in the Savage Land, and a Frog Thor prequel that will lead into Pet Avengers. This is a great cast of characters and they play well off of each other. Both kids and adults will enjoy this title.
Muppet King Arthur #1 – The Muppets take on another classic tale in this new mini-series from Boom! Studios. It’s the tale of King Arthur and the quest for the Holy Grail as only the Muppets can tell it, with more frogs, chickens and bears than you could ever imagine! The Muppets titles have been doing great so far, and their take on this classic tale of adventure, romance and magic is sure to be no different.
